How can I remove sticky tape?

The tape was on a box and when I took off the tape the sticky is left.

I've tried alcohol and nail polish remover---

Any ideas?

Try GOO Gone works great and you can buy it at WalMart or just about any where

Goo Gone works, I've used it for several things.

ice cubes works too, if its a plastic box lol

Soak sticky/label w/cooking oil. Then rub gently w/papertowel to get the gunk off. Then wash w/warm soap and water. If it's not a cardboard box, that is.
