    Praying to all those affected!! Please do your part to help, I think right now donations to the many causes is best at this point.

    I missed the news tonight as I had a friend here but I could see floods which looked bad so that must have been it. Hope there were not any deaths.

    There are deaths and over 30,000 looking for shelters. They are still doing water rescues, it is very bad!

    That's terrible, it must be so devastating to lose everything in fires or floods as well as loss of life. I will pray for those affected.

    they are still expecting over 2 more feet of rain!! it's horrible!

    I lived in south Florida for 3 years and in the Orlando area for 26 years. It's kind of hard to imagine the destruction it does until you have seen it with your own eyes. I feel sorry for them. I still remember when a hurricane leveled Homestead,Fla. I do not mean to sound cynical but we all understood the risk we were taking. Anytime you live in a costal area in the southeast you are taking a chance this can happen. Take a tip from me, if you are thinking of moving to the beach and all you can afford is a stick house or a mobile home then stay where you are. With that being said I wish I could be there to help. I currently live to far north and do not have the means to rush down there. Otherwise I would. Prayers go out to the people there.
