    Ladbrokes Poker Reviewed

    LADBROKES POKER

    Ladbrokes, a well-established British bookmaker and on-line casino, has re-launched its online poker room on the Microgaming platform. And with great success! Although American players are unfortunately not allowed to play here, statistics show that on average, 1,700 ring players and over 6,000 tournament players can be found playing here at peak hours! Ladbrokes Poker is licensed and regulated by the Government of Gibraltar.

    Software

    The Microgaming poker software is easy to use and works very smoothly, as we can expect from this top-brand. In 2007, Ladbrokes has been named as Best Poker Software 2007. All poker games can be played in the download version, as well as in the flash version of the poker room. Although the graphics are simple, there will be new features added shortly to enhance your game play:

    * Auto Top-Up (once your balance at the table drops below a predetermined threshold)
    * Improved Waiting List
    * 5-minute Sit Out Time
    * New Bet Slider

    Games

    I started to have a look at the Pokerschool first. It is easy and a lot of fun to watch the tutorials and videos, which feature Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels actor Nick Moran alongside Jon “skalie” Kalmar - Ladbrokes’ poker professional.

    Ladbrokes Poker's extensive range of poker games includes:

    # Texas Hold’em Poker
    # Omaha Poker
    # Omaha Hi Lo Poker
    # Seven Card Stud Poker
    # Razz Seven Card Stud Poker
    # Five Card Stud Poker
    # Poker Cash Tables
    # Turbo Poker Games

    There are currently 16 tables for beginners (table stakes of €0.01-€0.02) and at the no-limit tables, wealthy and/or near-professional players can bet as much as €50 - €100 per hand. Ladbrokes is always interested in player feed-back and, as a result hereof, has decided to implement the following new features:

    * DeepStack cash tables
    * Cash game Ante tables

    Tournaments

    Every day, you can share in a prize pool of €50 to €200 when playing
    Texas Hold'em, Omaha (including Hi-Lo) or Razz in the freeroll tournaments. In addition, there is a wide range of guaranteed tournaments, loyalty tournaments and private tournaments. Ladbrokes has recently expanded the tournament arena with:

    * Survivor Tournaments
    * Double up Sit 'n Go tournaments + Bounty Sit and Go Tournaments
    * Double Buy-Ins for re-buy Multi-Table Tournaments

    New players can join the Poker Radio Tournaments, which include live radio tutorials (on PokerRadio.tv) hosted by poker pros, where you can ask questions or give comments by Skype, email, Twitter or by using the chat function, followed by an exclusive tournament for new players only. This is such a fun way to really get into the game! When you are serious about becoming a good player, this is an excellent way to become one! Experienced players can qualify for special events, such as the Irish Festival, the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise and the WSOP 2010!

    Ladbrokes Poker offers a welcome bonus of up to £675! You have 45 days from the day you make your 1st deposit to play and earn your points. You can make additional deposits throughout the 45 day period to boost your bonus. The points are rewarded at any real play Cash table / Multi Table Tournament and Single Table Tournament you play at. Points are awarded as follows:

    $1 in cash rake = 10 Poker Points
    $1 in tournament fees = 10 Poker Points

    Next is the Poker Player Club, which consists of 4 levels, ranging from the Bronze Club to the VIP Club where you'll have your own VIP manager and be able to play in the quarterly €8,000 freerolls and other exclusive tournaments. You can benefit from many special tailor-made bonuses once you've reached the Silver Club.

    Banking

    Ladbrokes Poker offers an extensive range of deposit and withdrawal options, which includes:

    Credit / Debit card
    Cashier Cheques / Money Orders / Bankers Drafts / Personal Cheques
    Bank Wire Transfers - Sterling
    Bank Wire Transfers - non Sterling
    Western Union Quick Pay
    NETELLER
    Paypal
    Ukash
    eNETS
    Bacs - UK customers only
    Chaps - UK customers only
    Low value International Transfer
    Standard International Bank Wire
    Urgent International Bank Wire

    I like the fast withdrawals at Ladbrokes Poker, your money will generally hit your account the next business day when you use one of the e-wallets or the urgent international bank wire option.

    Customer Service

    The website includes an elaborate self-help section. Alternatively, UK customers can call Ladbrokes toll-free and there is an international telephone number for all other players. There are 6 email addresses available for general enquiries, account related enquiries, technical support, rules and payouts, competitions & promotions and card change.

    Conclusion

    Ladbrokes Poker has it all when it comes to player satisfaction and poker events! Whether you are a pro or a beginning player, you will feel right at home at this very popular and reputable poker site.

    about the microgaming poker rooms - I ve played a lot in most of them and I have to say 32 Red is the best one (no withdraw limit and 1-2 hour payout time!) Cool Hand is good too as it has a great freeroll satellites every half an hour . And by the way ,when making a poker network review guys you should really include if the platform has a Holdem Manager license ( a program that every active poker player uses) for example - the Cake network does not have license ,some microgaming have some does not

    Re: Ladbrokes Poker Reviewed

    Good review but ive never been a fan of ladbrokes, for casino's or poker. I used to use them a while back for sports betting but had a payout dispute so never went back.

    I might give the poker software another go though.
