NEW RULE ON CONTEST WINS - EFFECTIVE JANUARY 6TH 2010

"I think it is time to go back to the rule of if you cannot find time to say thanks for the win to our sponsors we will not get accounts credited until people say thank you to claim the win! Other forums take days upon days to credit winners and here at the Streak we send in your account before you have to claim and as I think as of today we will go back to the old rule, sorry to everyone that can find time to be polite you will now have to wait for your credits and if in 60 hrs winners do not post a claim you forfeit the win."

Pretty much what you need to do is to watch the contest winners room and when you win you MUST reply in that thread with a thank you or whatever. After 60 hours, all those that DID reply will be sent in for crediting and those that did not will forfeit their win.

Hi Judyb, I always try to remember to thank the casino and you at The Streak for my wins. I love to win the contests and think that it's only right to thank everyone for all the work they put into them and I'm sorry that it has to go back to the old way but I understand what your saying. Thanks again for the great forum and contests!!!

Yes, I must say you guys are great at getting us credited, and the casinos as well, I try to always say thanks, but I am sure there have been a few times I have missed (sorry), but I think we should all show our appreciation to you and the casinos, so it is completely reasonable for you to do this, you guys work way too hard and definitely deserve the thanks, and the casinos give too much not to be thanked!!!

Wow it is too bad that it had to come to this but completely understandable. I also sincerely apologize if I have ever forgotten to say thanks. I truly appreciate all of the effort you and your sponsors put into everything.

Thanks Streakchiks for rockin and working hard and all 'da kine' casinos who supply the chippies!! I'm sure its even harder to get them- when I was a MoD at different forums.....

I agree when and if I win I always try to thank all sponsors for their generosity even as I enter a contest or free tournament

Ditto for me... I don't THINK that I have forgotten to thank our sponsors when I have had a win... but IF I have then I appologize. (its been a couple months since I have had a win,,,, so I think I am in the clear) but just in case I have EVER forgotten... then I appologize!! I appreciate all of our sponsors and all of the hard work the staff here at the STREAK puts in to getting us the contest chips, I only hope I have made that clear.

I never knew we DIDN'T have to thank sponsors before being credited for a win, LOL. We should always thank people for gifts, don't you think? It's just common courtesy and only takes a moment. Good rule.

Exactly notes, that is why we have had to enforce it now. We just assumed most people would do it without being told and we let it slide too much.

I totally agree, sponsors are so hard to get and keep. The least a person can do is say thank you. So many just take it for granted.
