Gosh.... I never thought I would bring this up again!! My worst New Years eve memory was when I was a teenager (about 17 I think!!) I had gone into Boston for "First Night" and the guys I went with got us really drunk! I know I didn't get to ring in the new year, and when I came to I was sitting in Fanuel Hall talking to a police man!!! (who knew I was completely out of it) They called my Dad. Gosh, was I grounded!!! Needless to say, I don't drink now., and haven't for about a decade!!! jackpot capital id is mysticjoz.
Happy New Year to my Streak Family!!! May we all have a wonderful 2010!!

Yeah precious_woman, I have many of those stories from my past and thank goodness they are all from the past! I do not drink anymore.
happy new year everyone...now how many of you are still partying..?![]()
I remember one New Years eve where my parents wanted to keep all of us kids home to celebrate safely. There were 6 of us kids and my parents!! Since we were all of age, she bought champagne. When my brother opened one of the bottles of champagne it shot up into the air and created this "fountain"....... we laughed hysterically!! He has since passed, but we reminice (sp) about it often. And we all learned that you don't have to go out to have fun on New Years Eve as well as it's much safer to stay at home!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR ONE AND ALL!!! No memories for me this year, at least not great ones of the past new year's eve. Hubby and I toasted the new year in with a glass of champagne and then both of us crawled back to bed, sick with the flu. Laptops are great!!! Oh, well, there's always next year.![]()
Good luck zagora thanks for posting
My New Years Momorie was the last year I spent New Years with my mom. New Year 1999. My brother and his wife cooked New Years dinner, steak and lobster. So there was my mom, my brother and his wife and my husband and myself. We had a wonderful dinner and my mom so so happy that we were altogether. We played cards after dinner, which she just loved to do. She passed away that following April at the age of 93.
Good luck nikkidog
ummmm, i think this might have been 1994, we were in Las Vegas, but this New Years, rather than staying at the tables gambling, I decided to go for a ride on a horse...not a real horse, rather one of the horses outside of Ceasar's Palace...it was quite fun (any guesses if I had drank just a bit that night!!)

Good luck klh
Okay, the best ever new year's eve for me was the millineum one, where everyone thought all the computers in the world were going to crash or do something bizarre. We had a house party and everyone was there, family, extended family, neighbours, etc. We all partied hardy, like there was no tomorrow. A good time was had by all. And, of course, nothing bad happened! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!![]()
Thanks again for entering everyone!
Happy New Year to all :)
Good luck everyone

I remember falling asleep before New Years and waking up after. That doesn't sound like much, I'm usually alot more fun than that. But I guess not that year.
