The New York Attorney General has warned leading daily fantasy sports (DFS) operators FanDuel and DraftKings that their credibility is at stake as it probes reports of employees
using insider information to win large sums of cash in fantasy sports tournaments.
In letters sent from the office of Attorney General Eric Schneiderman to FanDuel chief executive Nigel Eccles and his DraftKings counterpart Jason Robbins,
each company was asked a series of questions about their business practices, data storing procedures and specifically the actions of certain employees.

The letters focus on the fact that employees or agents of each site may have “gained an unfair, financial advantage in a contest known as ‘Daily Fantasy Football’ by exploiting their access to non-public data.”
