Cabbage Roll Casserole
You are all welcome. I love cabbage rolls but hate that they take so much time to make. Just came across this recipe. Gonna try it out next time I have a craving!
------------
Cabbage Roll Casserole
1-lb ground beef
1-tsp oil
1-onion sliced fine
1/8-tsp pepper
Salt to taste
1/2-cup raw rice
1-can (19oz) tomato sauce
3-cups shredded cabbage
Brown meat in oil
Add salt, pepper, onion, and rice
Mix well
Add tomato sauce
Put cabbage in large casserole dish
Pour mixture over cabbage (don't stir)
Bake @ 325* for 1-1/2 hours

Re: Recipes
Yeah I use the pasta sauce in a jar too, but as far as I know that's the closest to tomato sauce in a can, we have bottled tomato sauce which I think is the same as your ketchup

JAILHOUSE DIP
JAILHOUSE DIP
2 containers shrimp flavored Cup-O-Noodles
1 can chopped black olives
2 cans tuna
16 oz jar of mayonaisse
sliced jalapenos (to taste)
3 chopped hard boiled eggs.
2 cans tiny shrimp (or imitation crab meat)
Cook Cup-O-Noodles as directed on package. Drain and cut up. Add all other indredients and mix well. Let chill for at least two hours. Serve on crackers.
(This is a good recipe to adapt to your own taste. I use salad shrimp AND imitation crab meat and only one can tuna. You could use any combination.)
