32Red celebrates 32nd win by Flat Jockeys Championship leader
15 May 2009

(PRESS RELEASE) -- 32Red.com, multiple Best Online Casino award winners and sponsors of the 32Red.com Flat Jockey Championships in 2009, announced today that it will celebrate Ryan Moore's 32nd win in the title chase with a £1,000 donation to the Injured Jockeys Fund (IJF).

Ed Ware, 32Red Plc CEO, said, "32Red Online Casino is delighted to be the first sponsors of this prestigious racing accolade and it's with pleasure that today we announce a £1,000 donation to the Injured Jockeys Foundation on behalf of Ryan Moore to mark his 32nd win in the 32Red.com Flat Jockeys Championships. We look forward to the remainder of the flat season and wish the best of luck to all jockeys."

The current Championship leader, Ryan Moore, had this to say of his achievements to date and of 32Red's donation:

"I'm delighted to reach 32 winners so quickly in the season. Its fantastic news that 32Red are donating to the IJF, which is obviously a cause close to my heart. I'll be trying my utmost to be Champion again this season and I'm currently on course to achieve it."

Ryan was the punter's favorite as the stalls opened in March and with his win rate so far he's sure to be hard to catch. There are several top jockeys in close contention however so the 32Red.com Flat Jockey Championships still has plenty of life left in it and in a few weeks time as we head towards the height of summer and the feature meetings at Epsom, Ascot and Goodwood things could change. With lots of winners also to be ridden at the evening fixtures up and down the country it would only take a winning streak from one of the chasing pack to shake things up at the top.

Head of Marketing for 32Red, Mark Quayle, added, "The development of 32Red's association with British horseracing has been cemented over the years by a number of race sponsorships, including the Group One 32Red.com Cheveley Park Stakes last season at Newmarket. The 32Red.com Flat Jockey Championships reaffirms this and we are proud that we can associate the best in racing with the best in gaming following our successful retention of the Best Casino award this year."
