Wow those sound like some delishous meals...i just moved into a new apartment and my family always come to thanksgiving at my home..i am cooking, turkey, ham, honey bbq wings, general tsos shrimp, mac-cheese, peas-rice, white rice, potato salad, macroni salad, collard greens, string beans, candied yams, apple pie, pineapple coconut cake, banana pudding, and i do it all with the help of my prep chef...lol she cuts, slices and dices every thing for me...

everybody have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING

BUT my son who is fresh in the Navy called and said he will be here for 2 wks so now I am very excited maybe I will even get a tree this yr :think

it's always a lot of work when you have to cook it yourself!
always better to let someone else do the cooking, lol

Yeah, I agree Dani. The older I get the more I like to go to my kids' homes and let them do the work :eatturkey

i am making a turkey a ham,macroni and meatballs,wedding soup,pizza greens,roni rolls .pizza,garden salad,antipasta salad,mashed potatos,corn,olive salad,gravy,garlic buns,double double chocolate cake,pumpkin pies,roast chicken.there will be pepsi root beer,coffee, tea,juices,water,milk ,wine,beer.and a few other things. lots of people coming.hope everyone has a safe and happy thanksgiving,god bless you all and keep you all safe and healthy.hugs alea

That cheesecake sounds delicious vixen, we got a cheesecake on the weekend to celebrate both my sons' birthdays, haven't had one for ages, and the kids talked my ex into getting something different this time, he is such a stick in the mud, always gets french vanilla from the cheesecake shop, but we had half and half this time, caramel and choc chip, was so nice to have a change! I felt the same as you vixen, I don't really want to even celebrate Christmas this year, as my house flooded Christmas Day last year, so have booked to go out for Christmas lunch, which I have never done before.
