Maybe you've hit 5 Rams playing Thunderstruck, or half a dozen Lara Crofts playing TombRaider and you'd just love to save that wonderful shot to look at later... or to send in for a slot tourney. It's not as complicated as it sounds. Once you've done it a few times, the faster and easier it is to do.

1. You've got that lovely hit on your computer screen. Stop! Hit the PRINT SCREEN or PRT SCR button on your keyboard. It's usually in the upper right above your Insert and Delete keys. This saves the pic in memory.

2. Minimize the casino screen (shrink it) or you may continue to play and Exit later if you can't minimize.

3. Now you need to open up your Windows Paint program. To get to Paint, click your Start button, then Programs, then start looking for a program called Paint. It may be under Accessories. Click Paint to open it.

4. Once you have paint open, in the upper left of the Paint program click EDIT, then PASTE. Bam! There's your lovely pic. But don't quit yet. There's a couple more things to do.

5. Go up in the upper left, click FILE, then SAVE AS. This allows you to save it as a JPG so it won't be so big. In the window that pops up, look near the bottom for "Save as Type"... then click the little arrow to the right of that box. Find JPEG, click. Now type the name of your pic in the File Name box. Click the SAVE button to the right.

6. Remember where you save the pic. You can make a new folder or you can just save it in My Documents... doesn't matter where, as long as you remember where it's going so you can find it again!

It's still real early in the morning... so if I've left something out, let me know and I'll put it in.

Well, I think that's it! Good luck!!

Thanks to Sadmouse and Giggles for these directons

Download ScreenPrint32 - This free software is much better then MS Paint - It works right off the screen print button!!!
Once you hit the print screen button you just right click and highlight area you want to capture and all the work is done!!

One more thing you can do after you saved your screenshot is,open up a free photobucket account and upload your screenshots to photobucket. This way you will always have a copy of your tourny wins..ect..for your records. And if yr puter crashes, you will still have it.

I have the coolest thing on my new computer for this. It is called Snipping Tool and all you do is click on it and a then you highlight all the parts of the screen that you want to save and then snip and save. I LOVE IT!!!! No more print screen button, no more parts of the page i don't want, no more saving it to paint and then saving it somewhere else. If you have it, give it a try it is awesome!

Screen Shot
Press the Print Screen key on your keyboard. It may be labeled [PrtScn].
Open an image editing program, such as Microsoft Paint.
Go to the Edit menu and choose Paste.
If prompted to enlarge the image, choose Yes.
Optional: Use your image editor's crop tool to crop out unnecessary portions of the screen shot.
Go to the File Menu and choose Save As.
Navigate to the folder where you want to save the image.
Type a file name for the image.
Select a file type.
Click the Save button.

personally use the ScreenshotCaptor tool (I know, what a name lol). Is free with the option of making a donation for who wants (TBH, even I didn't). You can declare shortcuts all you want, define filenames to be used, zoom in in to specify what to capture, add borders/effects, location where to save them, etc etc etc...

And the shortcut ctrl-printscreen is easy enough to remember when you get Naughty Or Nice spring break with reel 3 fixed to the wilds! :hppdnckept on hitting that shortcut every spin! lol

PS: if you google the tool, it is screenshotcaptor from donationcoder and I am not affiliated if someone was thinking that.
