The governor said the results exceeded previous projections.
Online Sports Betting in Kentucky has generated more than $68m in wagers from players statewide, just days
after the practice went live, the Governor’s Office said.

According to figures released by the Governor’s Office, nearly $66.5m of the total came from wagers placed
through more than 300,000 wagering accounts that were registered through licensed mobile Sportsbooks.
The other $1.7m in bets occurred at retail Sportsbooks through in-person wagers.

State Governor Andy Beshear noted that the results surpassed what the state projected for its
first week and said he was not surprised by such high results.

He commented in a recent social media post, “ $68m. That's the amount wagered from Thursday to
Sunday from in-person and mobile Sports Betting in Kentucky.

“The best news is those dollars are staying right here to help build a brighter future for all our families.”

Kentucky opened its regulated online Sports Betting market on September 28, while the state opened
for in-person retail Sports Betting on September 7.

During its first month live, in-person sports wagering has generated close to $10m in bets, the governor said.

Several operators have signed on to offer Bluegrass state players access to mobile Sports Betting in anticipation of the online launch.

Caesars Entertainment recently launched its flagship sports betting app, Caesars Sportsbook, allowing Bluegrass
State players to access the sportsbook app on their mobile device through iOS or Android devices, or via their
desktop computer by visiting the Caesars website.

BetMGM also launched its online and mobile sports betting app to coincide with the market’s opening. The BetMGM mobile app features customizable pre-game, in-play and parlay wagering options, along with same-game parlays and weekly free-to-play contests.
