Mad Dash at Betway Casino is one of a few new games recently introduced by Microgaming. The others are Reel Gems, Retro Reels and Robin Hood, which are also video slots, but I have to admit that I like Mad Dash the best out of them. It is a 5 reel and 20 payline slot and has coin sizes ranging from 1 cent to 25 cents and you can wager from 1-20 coins per line, giving a minimum bet of 20 cents and a maximum of $100 per spin if you bet all lines. All wins pay from left to right apart from the scatters which can appear anywhere on the screen. The Mad Dash icon symbol is the wild symbol and substitutes for all symbols, except the scatter. The scatter is the trophy symbol and pays out with 2 or more scatters, and triggers the bonus round if you have 3 or more. Other symbols are a turtle, a fox, a rabbit, A, K, Q and J.
The Bonus feature is activated when you get 3 or more scatters anywhere on the screen, you will have 3 choices to make before the Mad Dash race begins. Firstly, you need to choose a rider, either the turtle, rabbit or fox, next you need to choose the colour of your vehicle and lastly choose a race course, which are a desert, forest or beach.
When the race is finished you will be awarded 10, 15 or 20 free spins and your prizes will be multiplied by 4, whilst the number of free spins is determined by the place you achieve in the race. The animals are just so cute standing on the podiums waving their trophies around.
The free spins may be re-triggered and will be the same amount as previously awarded. I really enjoyed the bonus round, and did very well with it, as I won the race and received 25 free spins.
