having a baby in england

my daughter went into hospital this morning to have baby in england
they induced labor with an 8 in string and gel
what the heck

when i was induced in texas they put iv and pain got bad in a few hrs
not her she is still doing ok with no meds first baby

no needles no blood test what is the world coming to

they are looking for baby tonight or tommorrow was hoping for anyday but the 26th
brother died on the 26th 26 yrs ago tomorrow and my divorce was final 5 yrs ago tomorrow

How excited you must be ...is this your first grandchild?

My Daughter was also in England (in the military) when she had my Granddaughter & I wasn't able to be there. It's tough; as a Mom; but my Son-In-Law was wonderful in keeping us informed of everything via telephone.

I know you must really be hurting by not being there, but your heart strings connection with your Daughter; I'm sure; will be with her.

Let us know when the precious baby arrives!

Hope everything goes well for your daughter Myst, boy things do change, I was induced with a needle also, it must be hard not being with her at this time.
