Its crazy how soon the kids have to go back to school, I remember as a kid not going back until Sept. after Labor Day, my daughter started Aug 16th, my nephews started a week before her, and my son a week after my daughter, and Back To School night last night ... Doesn't feel like i've had summer vacation yet, sigh... lol

Yeah I am like you too Judy, and am hard put to even known when the school holidays start, apart from the fact that a few of my friends are teachers so they usually fill me in. It sounds so strange to me that your long holidays are in the middle of the year, ours start just before Christmas and go through January, but of course that is our Summer and yours is now.

It depends on what state you live in. My son doesnt go back until Sept 6th. Its always after Labor Day. But then they dont get out until the last week of June....so I guess it evens out! ​
