The WSOP is returning in live form this fall and players have now been provided the full schedule of events. Announced this week, the 2021 WSOP will run from September 30 to November 23 and feature a whopping 88 gold bracelet events.

The flagship series will return to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and provide signature events along with new options. In August, players can begin to register for events, both in-person and online.

New Events on the Schedule

This year, organizers have decided to add a few new events to the schedule as well as options that are sure to be crowd-pleasers. Take the $1,000 Flip and Go Presented by GGPoker. This event has a format that is popular in online poker gaming and will now be featured in live form.

Players will be all-in preflop on the first hand and dealt three cards, choosing two. One player will win the table and then fast forward to the money where the tournament will play out in the standard form. This tournament runs on October 10.

On November 17, the WSOP will host the Poker Hall of Fame Bounty. The Poker Hall of Fame started back in 1979 and with this event, all living Hall of Fame members are invited to take part in a freeroll. The $1,979 event will feature a no-limit hold’em format and players will have a bounty on their head in an amount based on the year they were inducted.

The WSOP is also pushing the envelope when it comes to the Omaha action in Las Vegas. The brand will offer the Nosebleed PLO on November 19, with players paying a $50,000 buy-in to take part in the PLO event. This will be the largest buy-in for a PLO tournament in the history of the series.

Main Event Details

As with any WSOP, the Main Event is a much-anticipated tournament that professional players and amateurs look forward to participating in. this year, the Main Event will have four starting flights, starting on November 4. The $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship is set to see a solid turnout, especially since the 2020 live event was canceled last year due to the pandemic.
