Yes you are right...but Im really really happy I did NOT get the 5th knight cause I would still get "only" $5000 when the paytable says more than $20,000... I dont really understan why they have a maximum limit when the paytable can give soooo much more....

Yes, max. payout goes for the entire freespin round, thats why it just stops when you reach that limit.
I've seen a screenie once from the game Rain Dance, the guy hit 5 scatters for 100 free spins, then he hit 6 retriggers for 700 freespins. He had 247 freespins left when the game reached max. payout and stopped.
(note that Raindance always retriggers with the original amount of freespins won, so if you start with 5 scatters/100 freespins, every 3 scatters will pay another 100).

I always wonder how these games can reach their payout percentages with these capped winnings.

Oh, Im sad to hear that, I know how the Rain Dance works, Ive hit 5 scatters tehre tw otimes but never had any retrigger... I guess if you hit one retrigger you probably hit more retriggers when you have 200 spins and so on but it really sucks hearing the entire feature has it limits and you lose sooo many free spins with huge multiplier...this limit schould be removed by RTG! I can live with a max payout/spin NOT at a entire feature, especially when there arte free spins and not a just a bonus round.

I seen a forum owner hit for $40k at a RTG casino, but he was betting $25/spin, so i guess he probably was under the max.

I say let them reels spin, and no max, at least you could do is max per spin, not per bonus round and lose freespins, that sucks

Not entirely true. Some older 20-liners have a 40 000x line bet max win PER SPIN.
I hit 2k on Realm of Riches with a 1$ bet...it maxed out on that spin but the feature continued.
The new 25-liners seem to have that 50 000x line bet per cap per the entire feature.
