You probably saw the news last week that the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch said that plus-size people aren't cool enough to wear his clothes. He argued that plus-sized people would tarnish their brand. Even worse, Abercrombie BURNS clothes they can't sell rather than giving them to homeless shelters because they think homeless people would ruin their brand.

This gave one guy an idea. Meet Greg, he decided to go to his local Goodwill and collect Abercrombie clothes, then he decided to hand them out to men and women who are homeless in Skid Row, one of the worst neighborhoods for homelessness in Los Angeles. Greg wants to "Fitch The Homeless." He's giving people who need clothes the most free clothes while pissing off Abercrombie, we love it.

If you want to take action you can sign a petition demanding that Abercrombie opens up it's brand to everyone (even if you wouldn't be caught dead wearing it):

CEO of Abercrombie: Offer Clothes for People of All Body Types | Do Something

wow!! first of all this company is obviously full of horrible people and i wouldn't wear their clothes just because of that, but their clothes aren't my style anyway and also wayyy overpriced. but i signed it! i don't like discrimination of ANY kind!

I heard it on the news too, I cant believe a company CEO would even say think something
like that nevermind say it.

I'm signing too

thanks Judy

:thank you

I am one of those "plus-size" people and I would never wear anything of theirs even if they made them big enough!!!:boxer

Don't hate but my daughter worked there while in high school and when she came home for break when in college. She really enjoyed working there but I will tell you a little about the requirements to be employed there. First of all you have to be what they consider good looking and slim. Your job title is "model" not sales associate. You can only wear their clothing when you are working and it has to be certain items, which are usually very expensive, so needless to say when she was in college sometimes it was a little tough for her to afford the clothing to work there for a week or 2. The thing that bothered me the most is how she smelled when she was finished working. Have you ever went in one of those stores. I like the smell of their perfume/cologne but it is over powering. The first couple of years that she worked there someone would be the sprayer for the night. They would go around and spray the mannequins with the perfume and when I would pick her up at the mall after work she wreaked.

Even though I do not agree with the CEO's comments I do not see it being any different than a store that just sells plus size clothing. They cater to a particular group of people. Although I hate to comment on any ones looks or size, have you seen the lips on this guy? Holy crap he is one ugly dude in my opinion. Talk about calling the kettle black.

lkvikings, I agree its just the same as a store that only sells plus size, but the big difference is the way he explained it!! There are many stores that dont have plus size but they dont go around saying the degrading things he said. My wish is that he gets a disease that causes him to gain excessive amounts of weight and then is laughed at and made fun of every day for the rest of his life!! :clap

i avoid even walking past the store in the mall cus the smell is too much for me. they really overdo it that's for sure

What a douche I did buy my son a few things during the after holiday sale which I regret now of course!!
