ABOUT SPAMMERS, PLEASE READ AND RESPOND STREAKERS

It has come to our attention that someone recently sent Private Messages to many of our members (including some staff). We found out that this time it was someone trying to get another forum in trouble for banning them a while back.

While this was the case this time, it usually is not like that. Many times some one will join the forum and then send PMs to members trying to get them to go to their site, or download from their affiliate code or just trying to lure people away from here. We try to avoid this from happening, but people do get around us.

We need your help to stop these spammers. If you should ever get a PM from someone unknown to you, or unsolicited, come here and post and let us know. This will hopefully stop these people from doing it, and if it doesn't stop them at least we will know about them and can ban them on the spot. The more the members get involved in the forum, the less the spammers will be able to dupe anyone!​

Doesn't this ever get old to any forum that would still play games??!!!

Well, when your number one I guess you have to be very watchful.. These scumbags can't come close to doing what you do- so they come to STEAL your hard work??

To be honest , I doubt that just banning people from the site will help that much , the spammers will continue to abuse more and more (they just need another PC which will provide them different IP and there they are back in the game ) let me give you much better solution. When a spammer appears someone from the staff should investigate where do the spam links lead (other forum,site or whatever) or just as it is in the majority of the cases ,just an affiliate link.After a short investigation is done ,you guys(moderators,admins) just report them to their affiliate manager and they will ban them right away(which is one of their main responsibility not to let any of their affiliate members do ANY kind of SPAM) After that, I suggest you guys just make a public blacklist in a good place easy to be seen by most of the players with a detailed statement WHO(more information will be better) was banned from the site and also reported to their affiliate managers as well which most of the times leave them unpaid and excluded . So everyday more and more these scumbags will have to think about if it is worth risking their "eventual" commission and the blacklist with approved statements will respect them as well.In conclusion this should be an efficient way to greatly decrease spam otherwise it will only increase you are gonna waste more and more time playing cat vs mice. I think fighting SPAM should be demonstratively.
