I got a little shock today when a Sportsbook Casino called me on the telephone. They told me I hadn't played in awhile and he was about to go into some kind of offer but I interruped and told the guy that I didn't want to be contacted this way. He was very polite but still I hope this doesn't become a trend. I always hesistate to give my phone number when I register, but after all these years (and many casinos) no one has ever called.

Anyone else ever get a phone call solicitation from a casino?

Oh yea- I've gotten a few over the yrs. The most from annoying spotsbook who leave a message on my cell.

Some people think it's alright, maybe good customer service- personally- It turns me off and if I was ever thinking of depositing again- that would be it!

When I was married... My husband didn't always know my every move, and luckily I got the calls, but it would have been a big beef between us if he got the message or even got the call!

So- I'm with ya. I hate it! I feel it's overstepping bounds. Even if I hit big- as if- I'll call them- don't call me!!!!

My 2 cents.

Hope everyone has a good weekend! streakrockssss

yeah, i'd have to go with the I'll call you, dont call me thing too :)

me three.... absolutely hate when they invade my privacy like that...

I have only had a few calls, probably cos I am international, you can imagine how happy I would be if I was woken up in the middle of the night too!!

Sorcer- maybe a bit like I felt... This one casino I made a deposit at and didn't want to deposit again, was promised a comp.- then offered a bonus. Wrote them, told me to remove from thier list......

They called my cell phone from the other side of the planet and tried to keep me on the phone I think I actually told them to phuck off and don't EVER call me again!

That was a first- at least with a casino :dontspam charge me money for thier nonsence! :rodrge

they call me almost daily!

I get so tired of this, it isn't cool for them to do that. Its always one of those not so great casinos too. some of them are ok, not talking about rogue ones, but they mind as well be when spamming become a phone ritual.

call me if you want to give me $1000, call me if you want to pay me a huge amount, but don't call me cause you have a super 50% match bonus on my next deposit! lol

I'd go POSTAL on them!!!!

OR

Just hang up like the telemarketers they are- posing as casinos!!

If any casino dares to call me at home unexpectedly, I tell them they can close my account, FORGOOD!
The only casino that ever called me was Clubworld, for verification, and they asked first in livechat, so that was no problem at all.

Unfortunately this is so true of the rogue casinos. They do not have enough players obviously, so they try anything they can to get people to deposit. That is another reason to stay away from those casinos that are not supported by the Streak. Not only will you probably never get paid if you win, you will most likely end up on an email list and get spammed by a bunch of rogue casinos and affiliates and you run the risk of their unsavory practices like phoning you to get your business. Please watch what casinos you sign up with.
