All the gambling terms, I know I don't and sometimes you just don't like to ask, I was reading a thread earlier and vixen spoke about a slot being high variance, now I am presuming that means that it is harder to win much, but I could be quite wrong, would anyone like to steer me in the right direction? And perhaps you might have a question you would like answered also.

I think it means the lowest minimum bet is higher than the usual. Like maybe $1.00 minimum instead of 25 Cents minimum?
