This has to rank among my top holiday weekends. I recently moved into an apartment; on my own after years of living with family. Now my 12 and 10 year olds can come stay with me and they did this week. We swam, went to a wonderful park nearby for a picnic, and yesterday to an egg hunt at the church with my older daughter and my grandsons, who are the same ages as my younger kids.
We also cooked, ate until we felt like puking (which is always so much fun, LOL) and watched movies their dad won't let them watch at home. ;-)
It was a great time and I'm sorry they left this morning, but looking forward to them coming back every other weekend now.
Life is good.
