BEWARE!!!! I went to the store to purchase a prepaid ns card and paid via debit (My boyfriends) and it said approved..cash back yes/no then it said not authorized. So the lady tries it again and same thing. I asked will this be taken from the debit? She says no. Well I called to make sure and sonof a bitch!! It was!! They took $208 out!! So i cried and said i need this money put back on the card and she said..im sorry. We will need a printed statement of the purchase and then we can credit it back right away. So..WE have never done online banking but i went next door to my friends so i could do it and print it out because i am afraid to put that info on my pc cuz of what happened to me today with my card uggggg!!! Tomorrow i will cancell online banking. The NS cards are being declined even with cash. I dont know why.

Hmmm, I have a N.Spend card and just go load it at the store here. I always use cash though to load it, they wont let you do it any other way.

sorry you're having a problem... that is so frustrating!

When you make a debit or credit card purchase they put a "hold" on your balance.... unfortunately it will stay there until no matching transaction shows up in their system and the hold drops off.... until then, or until the store fixes it (if they even can... many have no control over this) you're out the use of that money until it "clears"....

Obviously I've had it happen, and of course, at times when I really needed the funds.... hope you can get it fixed quickly....

also I use WP and go to my Kroger's to deposit through western union...

it has happened to me also and the funds were returned in a couple hrs
also u can fund card free at heb superstores at least u can in houston

true you can load at HEB for free - ACE charge 3.00 and Murphy's - part of Walmart charge 2.00 - hope You get your funds back real soon - just spent my last to play with today - gone --- hope all have a SAFE AND HAPPY 4TH

WOW, I can't wait to get out of this rinky dink town. We have one place, that is Safeway grocery store and they charge $4.95 to load the dang thing.

Finally got the money back on the card!! I havent been able to relax for a week!! From what i was told..the prepaid cards were not working, not even with cash. Something was wrong and the wouldnt activate. They were fixing them soon. Judy, if you reload via western union it is $4 i believe. I opt for that now when i go to safeway.
